The meshed Spinach Recipe is very easy, quick, and healthy. We need very few ingredients to cook this healthy spinach recipe. As spinach has tremendous health benefits and goodness, we must add these leafy greens to our diet often.
List of Ingredients:
- Fresh Spinach: 1 bunch
- Garlic – 12 to 15 cloves
- Onions – 2 or 3, chopped/sliced (50 grams)
- Spicy green chili – 6 to 7 pieces
- Fish fillet – 1 piece, or Prawns – 6 to 7 pieces
- Mustard oil – 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste – pink salt is used
I thought of preparing this recipe in 4 steps.
Method of Cooking:
Step 1:
Clean all leafy spinach gently with running fresh water 3 or 4 times to avoid dust and dirt.
Step 2:
Blanch the spinach in boiling water. It was cooked for 2 minutes only. Do not overcook. Let it moist and the spinach gets a dark green colour. And drain hot water and put it in ice cold water to stop overcooking and maintain its green colour. Take it out and squish and press to drain out all the water from it.
Step 3:
Now take a pot. Add mastered oil, Onion, garlic, green chili, and prawn and fry all these. Do not over-fry or roast.
Step: 4
Now take all ingredients in the maxi blender or jar. Within two minutes our bright vibrant eye-catching mashed spinach recipe will be ready to eat.
Add roasted spices, prawns, and blanched spinach, and add salt to it according to taste. Blend them all for 1 or 2 min to get a good texture. Look out for the vibrant green colour, and the smell of roasted garlic and chili. Its flavor will blow your mind when you open the lid of the maxi jar.
Now enjoy with hot steamed rice and spoil yourself. I know you will eat a little more rice from a regular day, as you can’t resist. Your stomach will be full but your mind will say, a little more.
